Hello Everyone :) friendly reminder that Start with Hello Week starts tomorrow, Monday, September 21st. Please read below for the daily dress-up themes and schoolwide activities our students and staff are encouraged to participate in. Thank you for your support with this special spirit week that’s all about connection, inclusion, and kindness :)
Monday, September 21st -
*Theme: Start with Hello
*Dress-Up Theme: Wear green (the official color of Start with Hello)
*Schoolwide Activity: Learn to say "Hello" in different languages during class then tell others hello.
Tuesday, September 22nd -
*Theme: Team Up for Kindness
*Dress-Up Theme: Wear a sports jersey/shirt or twin with a classmate
*Schoolwide Activity: Sit with someone new at lunch or invite a new partner to play at recess.
Wednesday, September 23rd -
*Theme: Words of Kindness
*Dress-Up Theme: Wear a shirt with positive words, quotes, or messages
*Schoolwide Activity: Write a compliment for a classmate, teacher, or custodian and give it to them.
Thursday, September 24th -
*Theme: Unique & United
*Dress-Up Theme: Wear tie-dye or mismatched clothes to celebrate differences
*Schoolwide Activity: Play a “Find Someone Who...” bingo game in class to discover things about others.
Friday, September 25th -
*Theme: School Spirit of Belonging
*Dress-Up Theme: Wear school colors (blue and/or green) or a Forsyth Woods Elementary school spirit shirt
*Schoolwide Activity: Greet everyone you see with either a smile, high five, fist bump, wave, or hug.
